Reverb Atlas: Dispatches from the Frequencies Between Us

Welcome to Reverb Atlas, a space where sound, place, and story converge. This project is an ongoing exploration of the frequencies that connect us, the subtle resonances between people, communities, landscapes, and the histories that shape them. Through photography, soundscapes, writing, cartography, and immersive media, I examine the threads of connection that make place and experience meaningful.

Each dispatch is a reflection of lived experience, presence, and relational resonance. From the quiet pulse of a small Seattle venue to the open expanse of rewilded landscapes, Reverb Atlas is attentive to the ways we listen, respond, and relate to one another, to place, and to our own selves. History, ancestry, and collective memory are central, reminding us that our connections are rooted in the knowledge and experiences of those who came before us.

This work is autoethnographic. It is a personal mapping of observation, reflection, and participation. I do not claim to represent anyone else’s story. I share what emerges through my own lens and lived experience, hoping to spark curiosity, dialogue, and recognition of the connections that exist all around us.

Reverb Atlas is both a creative practice and a research endeavor. It bridges the worlds of visual storytelling, sound, and socio-ecological justice. My aim is to illuminate the rhythms that hold us in relation, highlight community knowledge and histories, and craft narratives that resonate, inviting reflection, engagement, and care for the world we inhabit.
